Heineken - Jan Pehchan Ho

Amazing what a bit of marketing can do to motivate people to do something - like watch an ad on YouTube. Heineken has done a brilliant job with the 'The Date' ad following up from 'The entrance' and is running on over 9 million views. 
The original Bollywood production is from 1965, check out the clip, it has an amazing timeless quality and is just as good, if not better, and only has over 600 thousand hits. The majority from referrals from the Heineken campaign.

Perception is only what we have put in front of us to trigger a faint memory. For all the people who remembered the classic, only one person decided that it was a good idea to make it into something else, and only a few have bothered to link the campaigns and check out the original.
